     Last year The Gateway was privileged to host The Keys to Health & Wholeness seminar with Rex and Lois Burgher. Rex and Lois have put together this valuable and effective teaching to help us transform our way of thinking—and transformation was what we saw.
     Several of the attendees experienced breakthroughs in matters that had troubled them for years. The marriage of one couple who participated was on the verge of collapse. As the weekend proceeded, they came to understand ways of thinking that were harmful to their relationship. This opened a pathway to healing that continues today. As a pastor, it is always exciting to see your people received effective ministry, but I myself experienced changes through the application of the Burgher’s teaching and ministry—what a blessing!
     The material of The Keys to Health & Wholeness is well organized and comprehensive, but is presented in an easy-to-understand format. Rex and Lois sensitively present the concepts for each session, followed by ministry time to allow for the experience of the Holy Spirit’s application. The meetings were well-paced, offering a lot of teaching in a effective forum.
     I highly recommend Rex and Lois Burgher for ministry, especially through The Keys to Health & Wellness seminar. We found this ministry to be the foundation for spiritual growth and the initiation of a move of the Holy Spirit in our midst.

         God’s heart for each of us is to be healthy in every aspect of our lives.  Not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually, in fact He wants us to experience the abundance that comes from living a full and healthy life. Having the thought of living such a life, through the grace of God, would be awesome, but how much more when God uses you to bring about that kind of transformation to another! Can you imagine seeing God touching people and transforming them into vibrant healthy people and you yourself being used of God to be a part of that transformation?  It is one of the greatest experiences on earth!

         The excitement of being a part of what is in God’s heart: to see lives restored, to see the sick healed, to see those who are hungry fed, to see those tormented and bound set free, to encourage the weak, to generously give to the poor, to give strength to the dying and to even raise the dead.  What a blessing and yet what a responsibility it is to share His love to a lost and dying world.

         To understand God’s heart for lost-humanity we need to be able to see it through His eyes and feel it through His heart. If our Father in Heaven loved us so much when we were so far from Him that He gave His only son to save us, then we who have been redeemed back into His image should reach out to others and do the same.  The excitement of seeing a life changed does come with a price.  But the commitment of time and sacrifice to see a life transformed is priceless.

         Therefore, you will discover that it is in the ‘doing’ that you will find what it is all about. You will make some remarkable discoveries along the way, experience incredible healings and also catch a glimpse into the lives of those who are experiencing incredible pain and heartbreak.  Healing is not a simplistic thing.  An understanding of the various aspects and methods of healing will strengthen your ministry.  This seminar is very personal to us as we share over twenty years of our personal involvement in the healing ministry.
 
         We pray that you will come to understand that the abundant life is attainable and that you can experience a life that is healthy in all areas.  But even more, we pray, is that you also will be equipped to make others healthy and whole, and even to train others to do the same.
